We will support our young people to grow and strengthen relationships outwith the home with encouragement to have a presence in our community and participate in local events.
Our People are skilled and knowledgeable in working with young people who have experienced trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences in their early years . Our teams complete various training including Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (
PACE) and Trauma Informed Practice.
Our People are recruited through a Safe Recruitment process. Our teams are trained in Child Protection, Online Protection, and are well skilled and knowledgeable in such matters.
As part of our core philosophy of care we use social pedagogy principles, incorporating a trauma-informed approach which recognises the impact of previous adverse childhood experiences.

We will support our young people to achieve their potential. There are a number of educational providers in the local areas and alternative independent providers offering a more bespoke vocational experience for young people who may not thrive in an academic environment.
Our People take a therapeutic approach to the care of our young people. All young people are individual therefore the therapeutic care that we provide will be tailored to meet the needs of the young person through a variety of services which include: Art Therapy, Equine Therapy, Animal Therapy, Music Therapy, Mindfulness and CAMHS.
